Urban Living Delivery Board
Formed in December 2005 to replace the former Partnership Forum, the Urban Living Delivery Board is chaired by an independent Chairman and is responsible for developing, managing and delivering the Urban Living strategy and programme. It is made up of people from a variety of backgrounds including the two local authorities of Birmingham and Sandwell, the Housing Corporation, English Partnerships, Advantage West Midlands, Registered Social Landlords and the private sector.

The Birmingham Sandwell Collaborative Board
Formed in early 2006 and chaired by Birmingham and Sandwell’s Council Leaders, the Collaborative Board has high-level representation from the Local Authorities and key service areas. Membership includes the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), the Health 2010 Partnership, West Midlands Police, Advantage West Midlands (AWM), Job Centre Plus and Urban Living. This Board provides strategic leadership, guidance and vision and drives forward the programme of wider issues, focusing on education, enterprise, employment; health; crime and community safety.
The Urban Living team
At an operational level, the Urban Living team oversees the
Housing Market Renewal Area programme which is delivered by the
two local authorities, area based initiatives (such as the New
Deal for Communities schemes in Aston and Greets Green), housing
associations and private sector partners. The core team is supported
by teams within the two local authorities of Birmingham and Sandwell.
